Gladstone Michel Attorney Donald Mabry Named Partner

LOS ANGELES -- Gladstone Michel Weisberg Willner & Sloane, ALC, is proud to announce that Donald Mabry has been named a partner in the firm effective February 1, 2010.

Don has more than 15 years of experience representing a wide range of domestic and foreign corporations in civil litigation matters. He is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried more than 30 cases in California and other jurisdictions. He also has mediated and arbitrated dozens of cases, as well as prosecuted and defended numerous appeals from initial filings through oral arguments.

"Don is a versatile and talented lawyer who is comfortable in front of juries and judges. He has proven to be an enormous asset to this firm, and we are proud to welcome him as a firm partner," says Managing Partner Allen L. Michel.

Don's practice is focused primarily on:

• Entertainment litigation, representing film completion bond guarantors, motion picture financiers, and other businesses and individuals in the motion picture industry;

• Business litigation, representing art dealers and other businesses in claims involving breach of contract, fraud, misrepresentation, and business torts; and

• Insurance and tort litigation, representing insurance companies against claims for breach of contract and bad-faith, and in subrogation claims.

Don is a 1994 graduate of Marquette University Law School. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989, which he attended on a golf scholarship.
