Business Litigator & Bankruptcy Partner Gary Wallace Joins Gladstone Michel
(August 2, 2010, Los Angeles) -- Gladstone Michel Weisberg Willner & Sloane, ALC, announced today that Gary R. Wallace has joined the firm as a lateral partner. Gary has more than 20 years of legal experience representing clients in business litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Gary will continue to focus his practice on business litigation representing a diverse array of financial institutions, insurers, municipalities, professionals and corporations in matters involving business torts, contractual disputes, and collections. In non-litigation matters, Gary advises clients on corporate matters such as officer and director duties and shareholder rights. He has negotiated commercial leases for tenants and frequently represents debtors in bankruptcy matters, but more commonly creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 cases. He also has experience defending attorneys, accountants and financial advisors against claims of negligence, breach of fiduciary duties, and intentional wrongdoing, as well as general civil litigation.

Gary was previously a partner at Haight Brown & Bonesteel in Los Angeles. He graduated from the University of Southern California School of Law and received his B.A. from Boston University.
